Mikä on ArduPilot?

ArduPilot on arduino pohjainen autopilotti projekti. Ardupilottia voidaan liittää erilaisiin radiohjattaviin laitteisiin kuten veneisiin, autoihin ja lennokkeihin.

Miten Ardupilot toimii lennokissa?

Ardupilot käyttää infrapunaa tai ArduinoIMUa koneen pitämiseksi tasapainossa ja GPS:ssään navigointiin. GPS koordinaatit Ardupilottiin syötetään tietokoneen kautta. Koneeseen olisi myös hyvä laittaa erillinen sensori mittaamaan lentonopeutta. Koneen 3D-sijainti saadaan määritettyä erillisellä XY ja Z sensorilla.
